Colorectal cancer is the 3rd most common cancer among American men. Learn what you as a healthcare provider can do to help increase awareness and help people navigate through this diagnosis.  

Objectives:

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

1.     List recommended preventative measures for colorectal cancer in men.

2.     Describe early detection strategies for colorectal cancer in men.

3.     Discuss current treatment modalities for colorectal cancers in men.

 

This is a Gannett Education CE event. Participants who attend the webinar and complete the post-test and evaluation survey will earn:

* Registered Nurses: 1.0 contact hour

* Registered Dietitians: 1.0 CPEU (Level 2)

Sandra is currently an instructor of nursing at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida. Mrs. Coleman earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1992 where she majored in nursing. She received her Master's degree in a Family Nurse Practitioner program in 1998 at The University of Tampa.The majority of her 20 years of nursing experience has been in the field of oncology.

Course Completion Requirements and Awarding Certificate

After listening to the webinar presentation, complete the course test online. With a score of 75% or better and completing the evaluation, you may immediately print your CE certificate of completion or save a pdf of it for your records. You may also request a copy to be sent to you by mail. If your score is less than the passing score of 75%, you may retake the test. In the event of loss, there is no charge for a replacement copy of a CE certificate.

How to Register/Attend:

  2. Receive an email with a link to confirm your “seat” reservation. There are a limited number of seats for each webinar so please be sure to open the email, click the link, and reserve your seat.
